WHAT IS YOUR FASHION BLOG ABOUT? AND WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START IT? My blog is about fashion, makeup, photography and lifestyle in general. At the moment of starting the blog I was going through some “style phases” and was getting “into” fashion so I decided to make a blog see how my style changes with time.
HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?
It really depends on my mood, but in most cases I would say it’s simple but edgy. I love solid colors, mixing materials, layering. I love the juxtaposition of tight and loose clothes. I love simple pieces mixed with statement jewelry.
WHAT IS THE BIGGEST FASHION MISTAKE YOU EVER MADE? Uhm… I wore really big oversized “rapper” pants and huge band t-shirts in highschool. I don’t think that’s a fashion mistake, but it kinda looks silly on a small girl. :D
WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE DESIGNERS?
My favorite Croatian designers are: Clash of 9, Envy Room, Sonja Lamut, Teo Perić and many others. As for the foreign: Alexander Wang/Balenciaga, Phillip Lim, Riccardo Tisci /Givenchy, Helmut Lang, Alexander McQueen…
WHAT MAKES YOU FOLLOW SOMEONE ON LOOKBOOK.NU?
I guess it’s the attitude that makes me do that. Also, when I see a nice outfit, I follow. I love my massive feed - offers me a lot of inspiration! :)

Whoever likes me and my style should follow me :) I hope to improve my blog’s content this year even more :)

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THE STYLE IN ZAGREB?
There are some really stylish people, and that good to see since all the other are quite conformist.
HOW DO YOU BALANCE BEING AN ART HISTORY STUDENT, BLOGGER, PHOTOGRAPHER AND MAKEUP ARTIST? HOW DO THESE DIFFERENT CAREERS COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER?
I’m finishing my two masters degree this year, after I get my diplomas I’ll focus on blogging, doing make up, photographing and hope to find a job in these areas. :) I still don’t know where all of this will lead me, so I’ll just enjoy the ride and try to make the best of it.

I’m not good at remembering names of designer because I’m more into brand names and the season’s collections like the latest collection of Givenchy which is the Rottweiler Collections.

Invest in a classic vintage jacket. They’re like life-savers if you cant think of an outfit to wear.
Invest in semi-fitted pants in dark colors that can match to different outfits
Iinvest in classic but high-quality shoes

ANNE SOFIE MADSEN @ Copenhagen Fashion Week SS13

Expectations were high for Anne Sofie Madsen spring/summer 2013 collection and she definitely proved her talent. Overall Anne Sofie Madsen made cool street style and haute couture form a beautiful symbiosis.
A keyword for the collection was definitely contrast. Along with the combo of street and haute, the contrast was also seen in her use of textiles. Leather was applied on thin mesh shapes and cords were applied on garments all creating interesting shapes mixed with pleated hand painted silk skirts.
Complementary to the haute-couture pieces were the sporty t-shirt dresses with hand drawn illustrations digitally printed on silk and the cycling shorts. All models wore white sneakers. A perfect touch to the collection. I really worship her craftsmanship and use of textile. Her illustrations are just amazing. Anne Sofie Madsen is really one to watch!
