Meet brother/sister designer duo Carmin and Christian Black. They decided to use their creative design skills to help out starving children around the world through the launch of Half United.

Read their story here -
HOW DID THE TWO OF YOU COME UP WITH THIS IDEA?
(Carmin) In 2008 my brother was working to start a men’s clothing line but was not sure how to get it off the ground. Around the same time I was invited by TOMS to participate in their Vagabond program- I drove nationwide with a small group of other 20-somethings to speak at high school and college students about the One for One movement. While on the road it dawned on me that Christian and I could combine forces- he could continue to design clothes and I could run our finances and incorporate giving into the business model. Years later we now have turned our business into a men and women’s accessories brand. Giving back and feeding kids is still at the heart of what we do. We feel like we’re making a difference every day.

HOW IS IT WORKING TOGETHER AS BROTHER AND SISTER? IN WHAT WAYS DO YOU BALANCE EACH OTHER?
Some days its tough. We argue, disagree and bicker like most siblings do. The cool thing is we also make up for each other’s differences. He’s great at graphic design- something I hate. And I love finance, keeping our margins in check and analyzing what’s trending for us is really amazing to me- you can’t run a business like ours without both elements. At the end of the day we are very close and would never stab the other in the back which makes for a very sound partnership.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR DESIGNS/STYLE?
Sleek. Sometimes my personal style does not shine through as I fall in the pit of trying to design things that other people would love. However, the more I do that, the more the products get bad reviews. Whenever I design based on conviction and things I love, the response is usually great! Moving forward HU is going to appear a bit more mature and sophisticated but always with an edge and with products that make complete sense for the cause we support.

WHERE DO YOU GET THE INSPIRATION FOR YOUR DESIGNS? Everywhere. From a photo of a sunset on Instagram- I’ll think “when people wear our products I want them to feel the way I do when I look at this photo,” to lifestyle/street style images in magazines, to other designers. Like this Fall we are using a line of colors Prada is featuring on their shoes- we don’t EVER copy but being fashion-forward, and on-trend is a must, and the big players usually lead the charge in defining those things.
HAVE YOU HAD ANY INTERACTION WITH THE CHILDREN WHOSE LIVES YOU ARE SAVING?
From getting to play with the kids we work with at a school garden planting, to seeing a child’s face when we knock on their front door with bags of groceries- all of the reactions to us giving food are exhilarating Everyone needs to eat, and as a child your needs are so basic- love, food, shelter, and education, other than this most things come secondary. For a child, when they are fed enough they feel safe, and secure. Seeing a child’s demeanor change is priceless.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST OBSTACLE YOU OVERCAME IN CREATING THIS COMPANY
Constantly adapting to change. Running a business is tough when it involves keeping your people employed and happy. Right now we are looking for seed money and going through this process is taxing. We are having to open our minds to new ideas- things that would appeal to investors, while at the same time funding our mission and keeping our promise to give HALF of all profits to feed children. Business ownership is not for the faint of heart, but I would not trade what I do for working for someone else ever.
WHAT HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT SO FAR?
I would say gaining our accounts with Nordstrom and Barnes and Noble Campus. These accounts not only give us some legitimacy in the fashion world, but they have funded our giving efforts in ways that few accounts ever could. Knowing that the buyers from these national corporations believe in us is an amazing feeling and not one we take lightly.

I SAW YOU STARTED IT WITH ONLY $200. WHAT DO YOU THINK GAVE YOU THE COURAGE TO STICK WITH IT AND GROW IT TO WHAT IT IS TODAY? WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU HAVE FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS AND FOR DESIGNERS?
We definitely started with a meager $200! Haha, looking back I realize how ambitious our decision really was. In terms of what kept driving us, I knew that God had given me a vision for the company I would one day run. I am NOT saying that I heard from him audibly, or that if someone does not feel a divine inspiration that they wont succeed in starting a business. For me though, I had a peace surrounding the idea that the next phase in my life would involve starting and running my own corporation that would feed children in need. One thing I can assure any aspiring entrepreneur is that if you do not have a peace about starting a company, or if you are only starting a business to make money and your heart is not truly invested in what you are working on, there is a little chance it will succeed. I cannot tell you how many times my brother and I wanted to quit. In the early days we had no money, no prospects, not even quality products, but because I felt this was what I was called to do in the deepest part of my soul, I knew it would pan out. Since day one doors have opened for us through little effort of our own. When a business does not flow naturally, or when you are having to trudge, and strive to make any movement- it may not be the right thing to do. Do not get me wrong, running a business is hard, hard, work. I am exhausted, tired, sometimes frustrated and even feel lost, but just before I throw in the towel God pulls through for us, he shines the light at the end of the tunnel and something happens that propels us forward. The moral of this, you must trust your instincts and rely on your convictions- do this and you’ll likely succeed!

Joanna Kinsman the designer of Miss Kinsman -
Hip LA swimwear designer Miss Kinsman sent her sexy and edgy swimwear that is inspired by lingerie down the runway in her LA fashion show.
Interview with Tess Johnson
Nolcha Fashion Week: New York held the Fashion Lounge: London at Mania Mia on New Kings Road. Check out designer Tess Johnson, a young up and comer whose avant-garde feather dress made it into the Saks 5th Ave window when she was still in school. Here Tess shares her inspiration and experience being a designer with Runway Passport.

WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND YOUR MOST RECENT COLLECTION?
My A/W13 collection, “Submerged”, was inspired by the deep sea. I drew my inspiration from the colors, the shapes and the movement of the ocean. You can clearly see the inspiration in the custom prints I created which show seascapes, fish and barnacles. The dark colors are drawn from the darker feeling form deep down, with pops of color from the fish and the corals. The silhouettes and fabric choice all play on the movement and fluidity of the water in juxtaposition of the rigidity and hardness of the rocks and coral.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE FOR YOU AS A DESIGNER?
The biggest challenge for me as a designer is creating a collection that people will like. I am always trying to find the right combinations of colors, materials and silhouettes that will appeal to the world while fulfilling my idea of the collection. I want to always create a collection that is true to my inspiration and style, while still making clothes that women love and are excited to wear.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT?
My biggest accomplishment thus far would definitely be seeing a few people wear Tess Johnson pieces. It gives me such pride to see someone wearing a jacket or dress that I created. I feel like I have accomplished something big when someone out there loves what I created that they want to wear it also.

WHO INSPIRES YOU THE MOST
I respect and admire so many other designers and I am constantly inspired by them. One, in particular, would absolutely be Alexander McQueen. Ever since I was little I would look to him for mind blowing creations. He helped me understand that prints, creativity, and imagination were very important in design and key components to setting yourself apart.

WHAT IS THE ONE PIECE YOU DESIGNED THAT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF?
In my very first collection, when I was still in university, I created a dress made entirely of 5’-6’ pheasant feathers. This dress was editorial, avant-guard, and the first piece to my Tess Johnson label. This particular dress was selected by Saks Fifth Avenue to be displayed in their store in May of 2011. I not only loved this pieces by itself, I loved what came from it, I love where it has taken me, and I love that when I look at it, I remember why I started doing what I am doing.

NAME OF SCHOOL:
Fashion Design Akademiet
WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED SO FAR AT FASHION SCHOOL
It’s hard to pick out just one thing, because everything has been important in their own way. I’m learning about the whole process on design, from creating a mood board and develop an idea and how to make a design folder, to calculate the pattern and then learning to sew the clothes. So everything belongs together to get the finishing result. But one very important thing that I’ve learned, is that I have to think about how it’s possible to make that piece of clothing when I’m drawing it.
WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF SCHOOL AND THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE?
I would say that developing creativity is both the best part and the biggest challenge for me.
I have my personal style and often design on the basis of my own style. But now I have to learn to think outside it. It got me to thinking about clothes in a totally different way. Now I notice more details, type of pockets, incisions, seams etc. on the clothes.
But it is also a challenge to try to come up with something completely new and different.
But the very best part is every time I have a finished piece that I have made my self!
WHAT IS YOUR INSPIRATION FOR THIS COLLECTION?
The clothes I’ve made up to now don’t belong together as a collection, so they are all taken from different inspirations. And on the basis of the requirements my school had for each piece.
For example:
My pants are inspired by Balmain, with the tough / sexy look and many zippers.
The dress was inspired by a special folding technique, which I’ve used on the straps. Here I wanted to make an elegant party look, with that little extra.
But I will say that my clothes have a lot in common. Every piece I make is designed for a young woman. Its all in a feminine style, where I emphasize the female forms. The clothes have to have some nice details that give them the little extra.
I want to make everyday clothes with a twist of luxury. I think that every girl deserves a little sparkle, so a lot of the clothes I make will have some glitter.
With my clothes you can look your best every day, feel good and just have fun!
WHEN DID YOU REALIZE YOU WANTED TO BECOME A DESIGNER?
I’ve been fortunate to been involved in a lot when it comes to fashion, which has gradually evolved to become a big dream of becoming a fashion designer.
I have always loved fashion and clothes. But I’ve missed clothes with that little extra. Often when I’ve seen clothes I’m thinking that they have been so much nicer if it had been made in a different way, so I started on the idea that I should have been able to made it myself.
I started to educate as fashion consultant / stylist. At the same time I started a blog (www.oustyle.org) with my friend Ann Karin, who is a makeup artist. Then we started to do styling for photoshoots and music videos together. That’s when I started two think how fun it would be if I could make my own clothes for styling projects.
I also started to work in a big dress shop in Norway, where I was selling Norwegian design. That made my eyes more open to the idea that it is possible two make it as an designer even if I’m a “normal” Norwegian girl.
Then I got the opportunity to go to fashion week with Runway Passport. That’s when I really knew what I wanted to do - I wanted to have my own clothes on that runway!!
Now that I have started studying for my dream, I know I have made the right choice. I’ve finally found what I love to do. Every day is an inspiration and motivation to get ahead!

WHAT ARE SOME HAIRSTYLES THAT ARE POPULAR OR NEW NOW THAT YOU LOVE?
There are always all kinds of hairstyles coming and going. Some of the new hair styles that I truly love right now are the ombré look, there’s so many different colors who can do with the look that makes it so interesting and fun to do. Also I love the beach wave style it’s a perfect casual and formal look that can be worn in so many different styles.
WHAT ARE SOME HAIRCARE TIPS?
The best way to take care of your is know your hair. If you have an oily scalp use an oil reducing shampoo, etc. also everyone uses heat on their on hair whether it be curling iron, wand, flat iron, blow drier, and so on, with that being said always make sure you use a heat protectant and some sort of leave in/finishing serum. I recommend using a line of hair care called Organix, they have a shampoo and conditioner for all hair types my personal favorite is the coconut milk it adds all the nutrients your hair needs and leaves your hair so soft. Everyone wants long hair, I would recommend a shampoo and conditioner line called Mane and Tail it’s normally used for horses but helps the hair grow amazingly!

WHAT IS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE WOMEN TEND TO MAKE WITH THEIR HAIR?
The biggest mistake women make with their hair is not knowing their hair. Make sure you know whether your hair is oily, dry, damaged or if you have fine, medium, coarse or straight, wavy, curly, or extremely curly hair and buy products that accommodate your hair type.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A HAIRSTYLIST?
Ever since I was about 10 or 12 I have always has an interest in doing hair. I use to cut my own hair when I was younger and of course it came out terribly but I’ve always wanted to style I love all the different styles you can do and change someone’s look so simply.
WHAT JOB OR PROJECT HAVE YOU DONE SO FAR THAT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF?
This is the first job I have done outside of school that I am so very proud of you. It’s a totally different environment and so exciting and kept me on my toes.
FILM
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE PERSONALITY OF EACH CHARACTER AND HOW DID THAT INFLUENCE YOUR CHOICES FOR THE HAIR?
The characters were based off of those who live in Silver Lake, California. The girls from there are very well put together care about their hair and appearance, from that i was influenced to do wave curls because they can be worn down, in a pony tail, in any style really.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DOING A CHARACTER’S HAIR ON SET AND A CLIENT IN THE SALON?
The main difference between doing hair on a set and hair in a salon is when doing hair in a salon it’s client after client in and out of the salon. On the set your with the same client for however long the shoot is constantly tweaking and fixing their hair in a fast paced environment.

DID YOU HAVE A FAVORITE LOOK/CHARACTER FROM THE FILM? IN TERMS OF THE HAIR STYLES?
In terms of the hair style my favorite characters hair was Molly’s, she had extremely long beautiful hair that was so fun to curl and style. For Molly’s hair we did loose waves that looked beautiful.

OF THE HAIRSTYLES YOU DID FOR THE FILM CAN YOU GIVE WOMEN SOME TIPS FOR ACHIEVING EACH OF THESE LOOKS AT HOME?
For each of the looks I did I used a curling wand that you purchase from Target or any beauty supply store starting from anywhere of $25-$200 depending the brand and store. One of the easiest ways to achieve waves is with the curling wand. Depending on the size of the wand (1/2 inch 1/4 inch) depends on the amount of hair you take in your subsection. If you want the hair to curl towards your face put the wand on top of the subsection and curl towards your face, for curls away from your face start under the subsection and curl away from your face holding the wand down. Wrap the hair around the wand all the way to the ends as close as you can without burning your finger tips. Depending on your hair type hold the hair around the wand until you feel the heat all the way through the hair. Still holding the wand downward let the hair ends go and hold the curl bunched together in your other hand until it cools then let go. When you finish a section use your fingers to brush out the curl (if its too tight or not wavy enough) if the ends come out frizzy twist the section all the way down in the direction of the curl, spray with finishing hairspray and enjoy!

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A STYLIST?
Opportunity of creative expression… my eye for detail, love of vintage and loud fashion. I get to pioneer my own outlook on style and its constant evolution.
WHAT ARE SOME FASHION/STYLE TIPS?
If its love at first sight….do not doubt yourself and get it. Usually first thought is the best thought when shopping or selecting pieces to wear…If you second guess it then you probably should not get it. If you feel it ….wear it with CONFIDENCE no matter what it is.

WHAT IS THE MOST EXCITING AND MOST CHALLENGING PART OF YOUR CAREER?
The most exciting part is the final product….seeing it all come together in the end is always such a reward. The most challenging part is always the time restraint you have to make it all happen. In the end it always works out. Whew.

ANY TIPS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BECOME STYLISTS?
Organization is top priority ….makes your job much easier when you plan , write things down and keep everything super organized . Find what aspect of styling fits you most , stay true to your style and stick with it.
FROM THE FILM

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE STYLE OF EACH CHARACTER?
Common thread was underlining hipster and bold colors.
DID YOU HAVE A FAVORITE LOOK FROM THE FILM?
Jen’s look from the interview scene. It is def something I would wear. Racer back lace tank with high waisted 90’s floral skort paired with black leather studded booties by OPENING CEREMONY.

WHICH CHARACTER (IF ANY) MOST MATCH YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?
A lot of pieces from Jen’s wardrobe is most reflective of my own personal style.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THIS PROJECT?
My favorite part was collaborating with the director on each wardrobe look for the character breakdown. It is always a awesome opportunity when you have creative control over the building of each character. The ability to execute that vision through your own references is always a pleasure.

Up and Coming actress, writer and executive producer of Roomiez shares her experience on the set and how the style of her character Jen is expressed. HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE IDEA FOR THE SCRIPT?
It started out with ideas I’d just jot down in my phone on the subway. I’d send screenshots to a friend who gave me good feedback - enough where I felt I could turn it into a script. A lot of it’s just based on my real-world experiences.
WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATION FOR YOUR CHARACTERS?
Haha some, but not all are based on real people I’ve met and friends of mine. But they’re cool with it. They didn’t take any offense, they thought it was funny.

HOW MUCH DOES THE HAIR, MAKEUP AND COSTUME HELP YOU GET INTO CHARACTER?
For me hair, makeup, and wardrobe help tenfold; it’s the whole outward-in approach. Even getting ready on a normal day-by-day basis sometimes I feel like I’m getting into character, because I’m a girl, you know? Like the color I have on my nails. My hair and makeup I mostly did myself but I loved the wardrobe our stylist gave us-I had a Dodgers sweater we had to turn inside-out because of the logo; I was so bummed because I liked the homage it played to LA. LA played an important part to the film because I wrote it with Brooklyn in mind, but it just ended up being shot in LA. Since the director was in LA, and that’s where the team was, that that’s where we ended up shooting.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE PERSONAL STYLE OF THIS CHARACTER?
Jen is laid back, she’s cool. She tweaks and tailors everything to fit and she’s a bit of a tomboy, but a feminine tomboy haha.

WHICH CHARACTER’S STYLE MOST REFLECTS YOUR OWN IN REAL LIFE AND WHICH CHARACTERS STYLE WAS MOST EXCITING TO YOU?
I actually liked Jen’s the most; I even asked the stylist if I could keep the high-waisted shorts I wore when filming, and since I’ve moved from LA to NY I feel like I’ve gotten grungier. Kelly’s like this prissy, stiletto-wearing, real-housewives type and I like to be a little more understated I guess. And I loved Molly’s hair-Yvette, the actress, had this gorgeous hair down to her waist that I kept obsessing over. Jen’s style excited me the most-it really did! I didn’t think too much about it because I was focused on other things as a producer, like wrangling the actors together and food, but then when we got to rehearsal the day before the shoot and met the stylist, she was amazing! We were the same size and she literally gave me the shirt off her back-I always want a stylist now because I saw how to make stuff work with your body type. I’ve learned a few styling tips from her and I still have to try them-it brings back good memories.

WHAT ARE SOME MAKEUP LOOKS THAT ARE POPULAR OR NEW NOW THAT YOU LOVE?
I have and always will be a fan of the winged cat eyeliner look with a bold lip color like red or bright pink. I love that it makes you look polished and put together no matter what you are wearing.
The new trend featured this year at many of the spring fashion shows was bright eyeliner. I love the idea of keeping the face clean and adding a pop of color either on the upper or lower lash line. The colors i’ve been obsessing over lately are various shades of teal/aqua and bright purples.
WHAT ARE SOME SKINCARE TIPS?
For me there are three major ones:
1) Always wash your face. Whether it’s once or twice a day, I think it’s particularly important to wash away all the dirt and oil that has been collecting on your face throughout the day. It keeps skin looking young and prevents skin from breaking out if you are prone to acne.
2) No matter what your skin type, I think it is really important to moisturize. Moisturizer is a personal choice depending on skin type, but I believe everyone should do it (yes, even the people with oily skin). By keeping your skin moisturized, you’ll actually find that your makeup will go on much smoother!
3) Always use sunscreen when you are going to be outside. I cannot stress it enough! Using sunscreen will help prevent premature aging and wrinkles, skin discoloration, and skin cancer. I always apply a light lotion with SPF along with SPF foundations in my everyday face routine and I make sure to apply sunscreen to the rest of my body.

WHAT IS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE YOU SEE WOMEN MAKING WITH THEIR MAKEUP?
The biggest mistake I usually see is people using too much product. Only use as much product as you need (whether it is foundation, blush, or even eyeshadow). I always start with very little product and then continue to build up to the coverage I would like. Anytime you put too much unnecessary product on your face it can cause the product to start looking “cakey” or can cause creasing.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A MAKEUP ARTIST?
I’ve had a passion for makeup for as long as I can remember. I have fond memories of being little and playing dress up and always finding my way into my mother’s makeup. Throughout my adolescence it was always something I loved to do, I was constantly trying new products and occasionally a friend would let me put it on them. But it wasn’t until after college that I decided that I really wanted to pursue becoming a makeup artist. I would see the artists at MAC cosmetic stores and see artists on television creating beautiful looks and I thought, “hey, maybe I could do that.” I fell in love with the idea of being creative and helping people feel and look amazing with makeup.

ANY BRANDS OR PRODUCTS YOU LOVE?
There are so many. But I think if I had to narrow it down, my two absolute favorite brands are MAC and NARS. First of all, MAC has the best range of colors around. They cater to every skin tone and every makeup preference. Whether you like bold and trendy looks or you tend to go for the more natural look, you can find the colors to help you achieve that look at MAC. I particularly love their lipsticks, eyeshadows, and the mineralize skinfinishes (which are gorgeous baked mineral powder compacts). NARS is another brand I love, mainly because of their highly pigmented blushes (ie orgasm) that look good on pretty much every skintone and they have a great line of eyeliner pencils and lipsticks as well.
And just so I can mention a drugstore product that is easily accessible, I am really loving the new Covergirl clump crusher mascara. If you like long, defined, and thick lashes, this mascara is for you. I rarely buy high end mascaras, I think the best ones can be found in the drugstore and this one is definitely my new favorite.

THE FILM - ROOMIEZ

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE PERSONALITY OF EACH CHARACTER AND HOW DID THAT INFLUENCE YOUR CHOICES FOR THE MAKEUP?
Jen:
Jen is a very fashionable and cool hipster, and she is kind of the leader of the group. Her look included some thicker black liner and smoky brown tones for the eyes and just a little bit of bronzer on the cheeks. The thick liner gives her a cool edge and the smoky brown shadows help blend everything for a put together look that requires little effort.

Kelly:
Kelly is a fabulous over the top character with great fashion sense and the desire to look amazing at all times. For her I really played up the makeup and did a bold black winged eyeliner, with some bronze & gold eyeshadow and bright lip color. I switched up the lip color for her different scenes between a couple of vibrant pink colors and a bright red. I wanted her character to look very trendy and current so I went for this popular eyeliner shape.

Molly:
Molly is very girl next door and a natural beauty at that too. She’s very casual and has a pretty laid back style about her as well. For this character the look was all about focusing on her skin and making her look as natural as possible. I focused on making sure her skin was slightly dewy and added just a little bit of a peachy pink blush to her cheeks for a natural flush. For the eyes I decided to do a basic black liner smudged out with a medium brown eyeshadow. I blended her eye makeup to look very subdued so that her skin would be the main focus.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DOING A CHARACTER’S MAKEUP ON SET AND A PERSONAL CLIENT?
When you are doing makeup on multiple characters for a shoot there are a lot of time restraints. You have to work really fast on each look so that you can continue on to the next character before filming starts. You also have to do a little more research on each character, and because of this you get to be a little more creative with the look options based on their clothing and personality. With personal clients, you usually have a longer period of time to work on the makeup and you really cater to the client’s wishes for the look.

DID YOU HAVE A FAVORITE LOOK/CHARACTER FROM THE FILM? IN TERMS OF THE MAKEUP?
I absolutely loved Kelly’s makeup because it is exactly the kind of look I wear most of the time. If I have no idea what kind of look I want to do in the morning this is usually my go to. It’s so simple to just do a winged eyeliner and throw on any shade of lipstick i’m gravitating towards that day.
OF THE MAKEUP YOU DID FOR THE FILM CAN YOU GIVE WOMEN SOME TIPS FOR ACHIEVING EACH OF THESE LOOKS AT HOME?
how to do winged eyeliner. - Both Molly and Jens’ looks are very easy to achieve. All you need is black eyeliner; you can use cream, gel, or kohl pencil (whatever your preference, just make sure it can be smudged). Take a thin eyeliner brush (i personally prefer to use the thin angled eyeliner brushes, the thinner the better). Trace a thin line above the lashes. Then you can take a domed brush or small shader brush and dip it into a medium to deep brown shadow (preferably a matte eyeshadow), and sweep this color across this liner you placed above the lashes. Using a small amount of product and making sure to blend is key with this look. If you find that you’ve put on too much eye product you can take a fluffier crease brush and sweep it back and forth to soften the shadow.

WHAT IS THE MOST EXCITING PART OF BEING A DESIGNER?
To make something that new and innovate product for real people.
WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION OF YOUR MOST RECENT COLLECTION?
Men’s over coat in Korean costume called “dooroomaki”
HOW HAVE YOU GROWN AS A DESIGNER SINCE YOUR FIRST COLLECTION?
I learned every time and every action, so i could find a way to do better for all.

WHAT DESIGNERS INSPIRE YOU THE MOST?
Used to all the high end designer brands inspired me, but not so much this day. However i get motivated by technology, fair trade, no child labor, no exploitation things that what’s doing right.
WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BECOME A DESIGNER?
When I was in elementary school, I use to go to boutique stores with my mother to get custom-made clothes (one piece). Since then, I wanted to be a designer. I guess I enjoyed wearing different clothes very much back then, and watching how the fabric was chosen, so I wanted to also enjoy this in creating my own clothes.
